Accommodation

Accommodation is in the beautifully appointed, self-contained first floor apartment of Dalherrick Farm house, with private guest garden and hot tub. Extensive views across the surrounding countryside are enjoyed from all the apartment’s windows.

The retreat is designed for two, and that’s how it works best. There is one double bedroom and a double sofa bed in the sitting room, so two friends are able to share the retreat. Contact us to discuss.

The retreat is run on a selfcatering basis so you supply and prepare your own meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner), and your apartment has its own kitchen for this purpose. There are several supermarkets on the way to stock up for your stay and we can stop by at the them if we have picked you up.

To cook or not to cook

Part of switching off is not having to think about what’s for dinner – you can pre-order a selection of good quality frozen meals from us before you arrive. We source these from local farm shops and from some excellent independent producers who cook in small batches with proper ingredients, including a good choice of vegetarian and vegan dishes. We keep them in our freezer until you arrive, so all that’s left for you to do is heat and enjoy, whenever suits you. No shopping, no chopping, and no washing up of pots and pans. Every meal comes with a full ingredients list, and we’re happy to send you photos of these when you’re making your choices so you can pick what’s right for you.

We can also recommend local places to eat in the evenings if you prefer to do this.

Refreshments through the day

Throughout the day, teas, coffees and herbal teas are on hand in the retreat room, where you can help yourself between activities. When you book, we’ll also ask about any allergies or dietary preferences so we can choose the right milks and biscuits for you.
